The novel COVID-19 virus has ravaged Americans economically. The service industry has been hit especially heading to housing and food insecurity in many households. Some children, accustomed to receiving at least two warm meals, are at home hungry.

We were all recently outraged to read about a disoriented young woman who was discharged from a hospital in Baltimore without appropriate clothing during a rather cold night. Unfortunately, this frequently occurs. Thankfully, it was subsequently discovered that this young woman had a family who could resume care of her. Others are not so fortunate.
